Don't you be so sure. After showing on the TV show "the Apprentice", buyers ordered 5000 cars in the 1st hour after the car when on sale.

Also, the Solstice is very limited production - only 20,000 cars per year, and yet the base price is fairly low. Now, I expect the Challenger to run about $32,000 MSRP, and I have to agree with you that the Challenger and Camaro will be more high profile and more in demand than the Solstice. But 30,000 cars per year is not a TINY number of cars and Dodge can always up the numbers in any event if there is enough of a clamor for it.

We are going to have to be patient. No way everybody is going to be able to get a car the 1st year. But within 3 years, I would guess that everybody who wants one will be able to buy one for MSRP.
