Re: Ask Dr. Z responses

I have been skimming the threads and I have noticed that a lot of are stuck on 500 hp challenger, comparing it to Shelby GT500, have any of you read the articles about that car?? A Base Not Zo6 Corvette whipped its A@# In every test 0-60, slalom, braking, maximum G. you may be asking your self how does a car with 500 hp lose to a car with 400, simple one was a well thought out vehicle the other was not, the vette is a very well centered car, on the other hand the Shelby is Nose heavy and A*& light, just can't get the power to the wheels. Just remember Horspower doesn't win race's although it does help. I will be just fat and happy with a 425 Challenger that does 0-60 in 4.5 that I spent less money on as the Shelby with 500 that does it in the same time.
