Re: Question about R/T Challenger (1972)

Thanks again. I will get that CD rom you talked about. Damn those wiring harnesses are a lot of quid! But I'm going to get all new throughout, it's worth it.

Guys, I'm having a hard time finding a few parts I really need for my car. I've been looking online for some time to no avail

I'm looking for front/rear bumpers, don't care if they're repo or not. Also, on the front valance, there is a plastic 'lower grill' piece that is badly damaged along with the chrome trim that I need to replace. Any idea where I can get these parts?

I'm sure I'll be back asking for other things, can't tell you how much I appriciate all your help.

I got the whole car sandblasted, I just have to finish the doors and hood. Tore down the motor last night, it was lickity clean...I couldn't believe how clean it was. Might not even have to bore it out it was so fresh, that made me feel good. That and seeing the forged steel crank kinda gave me some excitement. Can't wait to order parts for the engine now. Taking it to the hot tank tomorrow. w00t!

I'm really stoked, this has been a life long dream to be able to do this car right. My savings are dwindeling, but I don't want to do it 1/2 assed, I want it done nicely.
