Well, though I'm not a mechanic or an engineer or an authority on this matter, I'll however take a " stab " at this !!! I find it somewhat hard to believe ,the Government part I mean [ although these days ,nothing would surprise me !!! ] Also, I thought that the Viper can reach 60-65 easily in 2nd gear possibly up to 80 [might be wrong there] . Another reason for ' not believing' that is for what reason /purpose would the Government not 'like' that..heck I'm surprised the Government allows automakers to still have speedometers have readings 120mph and higher !! In fact I just hope no Governmental entities are reading Challengertalk.com and/or get wind of what Hemis and other powerful things can do !!!
