With regard to Shield's, the owners almost had to sell the business awhile back, but did manage to remain 'in business' after all of these years. You know, a date shake sure does sound good about right now.

had passed and a Dick Wilson bought it..Had a bad weather season a yr. or so ago..but the super jumbo Medjools are 'da best : if you like dates [ many minerals and trace elements quick energy and is alkaline not acidic like white sugar !!! ]
