Active and non-active volcanos, springs and earth exhaust pockets spew more emssions in one 24 hour period than all vehicles put together in a year. The gases that emit from these volcanos and such are far more poisonous and toxic than any vehicle can put out. So before people start bitch'n they should really know their facts or at least get an education before they stick there foot in there mouth. Yes cars and factories do contribute but on a grand scale of things...the earth produces far more poisonous toxic gas.
Somebody on another forum I frequent suggested a 2 in 1 solution, use a bunch of extra nukes planted along the San Andreas Fault and blow them, sen Cali off into the Pacific, and if it sinks, eh, no major loss.
