I agree, My uncle just bought a 2006 Accord and he only has 910 miles on it and there are already rattles coming from the back right door and the center consol. And on top of that there was a leak from the back window already. I dont think hes going to keep it much longer if this keeps up since it has already been back to the dealer more than his old lesabre, impala, and intreped combined.
Well, in this case ,it sounds like he may be eligible for a total refund

under the Lemon Law : check your local/state laws . Also, any make and model can produce a bad apple .At least according to Consumer Reports mag Hondas and Toyotas have a better reliability record than the majority of American brands.Just because a vehicle is American made doesn't mean it's better [quality, etc.]. For example sheet metal /body parts ..have only improved the last decade or so possibly due to public outcry !! For any of you living in the Rust Belt {s} aka midwest and elsewhere , where rock salt is used on highways in the winter [ except Wisconsin or most of ] plus the way thinner gauge sheet metal used { compared to the early 70's and prior . but still} certainly know the devastating results upon any and all affected areas !In fact I believe the Big 3 conspired purposely to make vehicles rust quicker so ' We the People' would have to buy another quicker : plus it's factual too ! Ok, I'm waiting !!
