Re: So anything new lately?

The December 17, 2006 Philadelphia Inquirer, in its Automotive Section, had an article an "Auto Sleuth" column about the Challenger. It was nothing new, but I thought that I would share it.

"There has been a lot of speculation as to how much, if any, the actual Dodge Challenger would change from the concept car that has been circulating the country. The SEMA show sealed the deal in the Sleuth's mind since there was not just one Challenger, but a second nearly identical car, save for the fact that it was in drag-racing trin. Challenger Number 2 pays homage to Chrysler's immensely successful Super Stock drag-racing program of the early 1970s. The car has the same key looks and proportions as the original concept car, parked just a few hundred feet away from this version, which most likely means the real cars will be so close to the concept that you won't be able to tell the difference. What you see is, in all likelihood, what you'll get."
