Re: Dodge Challenger a little closer to reality

I'd love to say it's a $19,999 but come on lets be realistic. What will that amount of money buy you? a nice bottom end Camry?
2007 Toyota Camry4dr Sedan CE

Starting MSRP
CE 4dr Sedan Build w/Options $18,270
WOW!!! how depressing is that? I understand it would be nice to build a super smooth looking car with a HEMI engine for cheap, but come on. We cannot possibly expect them to sell these cars for a few bux more than a Camry. Granted Dodge reinvented a shelved model, but it was a model of speed and without conditions. How many millions of camry's are sold today? its ridicoulus. As for who were the daytona's target market... yup it was people in their 50's too. Don't get me wrong I'm just a little over 30 and trying to make a decent wage, my hubby on the other hand is closer to the target audience. We are not buying a Camaro a TransAm or a Pony Mustang. It's a Challenger, it will be the first year out, it will be new design (in Plum Crazy I hope) and new engineering even if they are working on the platform of an existing design, I'm sure dodge is still trying to capitalize on the expenses they have incurred in being while developing their new line of vehicles. Everyone ones cheap insurance and crap made in MOSTLY in America so maybe we have to save up and maybe we gotta that FUGLY minivan until it comes out and I save enuff money... but I will try damn it!!! F$#% the minivan, if they dont fit in the challenger they better find another ride.
