Just be careful about how much you believe the "official" word from Dodge. Back in mid 2005 when EVERYONE knew that the Neon line was being discontinued - along with the Neon-based SRT-4 - one guy on the SRTForums (refusing to listen to all the people who knew) wrote Dodge a letter asking if he would be able to get an SRT-4 in 2006.
They're "official" response was that there were "no changes planned" to the SRT-4 and they sure were glad he was interested in the car.
They'll feed you a line of BS before anyone else - either from lack of information on their part, or to keep you on the hook. They're obviously not going to come back and say, "Hey, that car you're interested in? Yeah, we've got no news about it. Nothing going on. It'll be a while before you hear anything from us. In fact, if you'd like to go out and buy another car while you wait, you might as well. I mean, you're not gonna hear anything new from us in a while."
