The guy on the platform doing a walkaround said he was only giving out information that had been given to him from DCX. The bad news is that only 2000 will be built for 2008. All will be 6.1s with the manual trans. And that Hemi Orange (or whatever they decide to call that color on the concept car) will be the primary color, and "there may be one or two other colors available". That sucks. Can anyone in the know confirm or dispute this?
He did say production would ramp up quite a bit for 2009 and that more colors and options would be available.
As always, and I know this because I've been to MANY MANY MANY autoshows, the guys on the displays really have no clue what they're talking about. DCX can't make that FEW Challengers in the current market. they're making 30k a year.
