I grew up with GM and had numerous A-body cars. several trucks, and a 1970 Toronado GT. I'll never buy another new GM vehicle.

For me, it's either the Challenger or a Mustang. I much prefer the Challenger. However, I don't forsee a 500hp convertible coming in below $40K. I bet the 500hp coupe will be close to $50K. Add $10K or more for the ragtop, if it even gets built.

My biggest gripe is how the OEMs make you take equipment you don't want by bundling stuff up, or making it standard. For instance, if you get an SRT, you have to get leather. I'd rather order escatly what I want, like the old days. I know the UAW doesn't like that and it's a PITA to try to keep track of each car, but if Mini can do it, anyone can do it.
