I agree with Mopardude. If it weren't for the K-cars, minivans and derivatives, we probably wouldn't be looking forward the the Challenger's rebirth!!!! I had a Reliant (my first new car). Yeah, I also agree ; with Mopardude & djd's turbo ! Granted the K-cars weren't a stylish model or a large and/or luxury car like the 50's & 60's Newports ,Imperials etc. : but they weren't suppose to be.The same holds true for the Omni's and the Horizon's,which by the way :in its very first year of production-1978- the front wheel drive Dodge Omni sold 189,000 units

and the European version, badged as the Chrysler Horizon, was voted European 'Car of the Year' !

!! They were for better mileage and practicallity ! The minivans too ! They are what carried Chrysler through the gas wars and other hard times; something that Mister Lee Iococca

can be proud of : the true Leader he was and still is !!
