I am over 50...and wiser (I hope!)...but I cannot resist having the largest engine... even if I have to wait until 2010-2011 model year. I have done some racing (track only), owned fast cars all my life and never had an accident on a public road (I am touching wood!). Power is like having a pack of 24 beers in your fridg...you don't have to drink them all at once and go nuts...you can drink responsively! Just knowing that you have all that power under the hood is a pleasure in itself and you can feel the power when you shift up or down even if you don't use full power. Everything else being equal, usually the larger the V8 the better the sound! I would pay more for a factory new
