Recently , I've been hearing that the New Dodge Challenger is being " talked about" as now being tagged as a 2009 model instead of the originally stated 2008 model year : by I believe then CEO &/or Pres.{

} , Tommy LaSorda ! A few members here [who know Chrysler employees] say it'll be a 2009 model, yet nothing official has been released AFAIK

!!! The latest from a post on the 'Woodward Ave. Cruise ' thread mentioned it'll be an '09 even though it may hit the dealer's Home Lots or Depot !

!!!!!!! Whether it's an '08 or '09 isn't a big matter , but I'm just wondering if there are any auto industry, FTC, SEC or any other Federal rules/regulations which lays out { legally} as to a timeframe for when an auto can attain the next year's # ? Does anyone know ? I mean is it just to pump up a consumer's ego -thinking,' Oh girl, I've got a 2009 model vehicular and it's only March of 2008 ' !!

! Also, a person could drive an '09 for 4-6 months and then sell it before year's end and get..what a higher amount than on January 1st [ unless it has an unusually high odometer reading

} ???????
