I've stripped my 73 Rallye down to frame and sheet metal and have new issues. I have also located a non-raylle 72 in another state that has many parts I could use if interchangable. For instance, the 73 has rot around the drip rails as well as front and back glass areas. The 72 is in great shape in these areas. The 73 as far as I know did not have a vinyl top and the 72 does. Question: Can I swap the entire roof including pillars and window frames? Also, the subframe on the 72 is excellent, there has been some rot with bad repairs on the 73. Do these models have the same frame dimensions? One other thing I noticed is the front bumper bracket has 2 bolts to the frame and the 73 has 3 bolts on each side. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
