While we are on this Bumper Chrome topic, I have a few thoughts or questions. When bumpers are chromed, isn't only one side chromed ? Whenever I've been under a car [ in fact I just went to see if I could tell on my '67 Chrysler Newport if the chrome was on the backside..doesn't seem so] I don't seem to recollect seeing chrome on the backside. If so, then why not ? wouldn't chroming both sides help protect from pitting ? { P.S. I'm somewhat ; thinking I should know these things ! !!} Of course the backsides cannot easily be waxed/buffed out !!!
