Re: "A glorious Time" to be a car guy

I don't know which is worse. In August of 1967 I ordered a 1968 Coronet R/T and had to wait for it. We had no internet or factory customer sevice to call. It was Dec. 24th before the car was delivered. The salesman had already left the dealership and I used to drive by the dealership every night to see if I could see it on his lot. Sometimes, I even went up to the train yards where they unloaded the cars just to see if I could see it. Now we have all of the the technology and up to date information and we are still frustrated by the waiting. I hope I can endure this as it is just as exciting as the first time.
