Keep in mind the plot is to be different from the original why remake a classic but to improve it or to add to it was our true mission.

You'll see its not a remake scene by scene, its a whole new chapter in the saga.
The film will have no SGI at all its all being shot with live action motion old school style.
This will be in no way connected to that crap fox pumped out back in 96 (made for tv version).
Well, I never did see/have seen that '96 remake and from all reports, I haven't missed anything !! I never have liked the idea [for the most part] of remaking an original ;especially a great one ! Can you say if Kowalski /Barry Newman will be in it.I've thought ,since reading your post, that it might add to VP #2 if the first part would have Barry in flash backs and also a scene of him like giving his kid/relative and/or an aquaintance the "keys" or ownership of a Challenger and then say after being in a coma [for years perhaps] .Kowalski barely awakes from being in a coma and gets a call from his son ,whom he's not seen for years..Gets up from his hospital bed and looks out the window and sees this all new 2006 Hemi Orange Challenger...then drifts into a semi-conscious state /begins another flashback where the White 1970 Challenger is coming upon the new Challenger i.e the early scenes of VP #1 !!!!!!!!!!! Oh,I better stop writing...oh y-ahhhhh you're the writer!!! Oh yeah,[almost forgot I did meet "Petrocelli" 1975 while he was shooting an episode. He was with "the wife", Susan Howard on location ;somewhere in Tucson ! In case the movie needs another person, I'm available, but again , I'm not a SG member and I am not an actor or a writer !!! In fact ,I aaaa ,what the!
