Hello everyone. Been trying/thinking of getting my hands on a Challenger but any dealer trying to get me to pay big bucks over MSRP is down right crazy. Everyone needs to have patience with this car. I remember buying my Charger R/T and looking on eBay shortly after and seeing SRT8's sell for consumer friendly prices. Let's not all get crazy now and start a bidding war. So what I've done is put 10 Challengers on my eBay watch list. Over the next 10 days they'll all sell. I'll put together a report of what they sold for and an average price. I understand these prices will be more than most of will be paying but I thought it might be interesting to see. I've called several dealers over the last few months and most of them have been telling me they expect to get $70,000+ dollars for their Challengers. I say BS. Most of the cars on eBay have a BuyItNow for $55,000-$57,000 which is still way too high.

In the end, if Dodge keeps this little charade going I'll spend my money on something else. Shelby Mustang has caught my eye as well.
