I remember buying my Charger R/T and looking on eBay shortly after and seeing SRT8's sell for consumer friendly prices. Let's not all get crazy now and start a bidding war. So what I've done is put 10 Challengers on my eBay watch list. Over the next 10 days they'll all sell. I'll put together a report of what they sold for and an average price. I understand these prices will be more than most of will be paying but I thought it might be interesting to see. I've called several dealers over the last few months and most of them have been telling me they expect to get $70,000+ dollars for their Challengers. I say BS. Most of the cars on eBay have a BuyItNow for $55,000-$57,000 which is still way too high.

In the end, if Dodge keeps this little charade going I'll spend my money on something else. Shelby Mustang has caught my eye as well.

I saw an 08 Challenger on autotrader listed at $39,000. Prob a croc of sh** but hey, it may be worth inquiring about. I would, but i want an 09.

I also have caught myselft looking at the Shelby GT500. A local dealer in my area has one with 1500 miles for about $43,000.
