Ill never forget the cubby hole...That didnt sound right, lol.
...I loved cars from the time I could walk and talk....as a young kid, ny next door neighbor had a really hot 57 Chevy....lotsa chrome, Turquoise, loud....it really excited me every time I saw him drive it around the block...a few years later he bought a new 63 Stingray and he took my dad and I a ride in it one afternoon....he romped it around the neighborhood with me in the back, crouched like a puppy, but what a ride that was....I still remember EVERY sight and sound 45 years later....I was on a mission to own a Vette from the time I could drive until I owned my first one...my first vette was a red 61 with a blown engine...since the first one I have owned lots of Vettes, new and vintage, but I have never had as much fun as that first Vette ride, crouched in the "cubby hole"
...I just sold an 04 Vette vert. today, the new owners are young and thrilled with the purchase...it's still like new, low miles and a real beautiful car....hope they have as much fun with it as I have
