I went through the same dilemma, here are the reasons that I decided on the SRT:

The SRT is 1/2" lower than the RT, and gets rave reviews for both handling and ride. So unless you want to live with the stiffer ride of aftermarket suspension, the SRT suspension and the larger brakes make it worth it to me. I've seen cars with aftermarket suspension run slower lap times than the same car with a really nice factory-tuned stock suspension, so I won't be touching my SRT suspension.

And the Challenger's SRT seats are to die for- I think they're really necessary to improve the otherwise ho-hum interior.

And of course, there's no substitute for cubes!
