Since it includes GST and PST (provincial sales tax) maybe that means that the green/gas tax is included in msrp? that makes a difference.

It bring the car down to $50,579 before taxes.
and with all of you who've already seen it saying its better in person maybe its worth that much??? Arrgghh.. what to do, what to do. Still 50 is still about 7-8 grand more than the american price and that just irks me! what to do what to do...

It makes no sense. The current exchange rate, has 99 cents Canadian buying 1 U.S. dollar, so why is the Canadian car $7000. more (Base prices)??
The following was just copied from the Bank Of Canada Exchange rates.

Using rates for: 30 May 2008
Convert to and from Canadian dollars, using the latest noon rates.
Summary:
On 30 May 2008, 1.00 U.S. dollar(s) = 0.99 Canadian dollar(s), at an exchange rate of 0.9942 (using nominal rate.)
