Ran across this forum from another site (linked to the new Challenger) and just wanted to say Hello!
I've been a Challenger fan since they were produced and probably have seen 'Vanishing Point' twenty+ times! I desperately wanted a Challenger when I got my license in 1971 but ended up in the GM camp when my Dad (who was selling cars at the time) introduced me to the Camaro.
Had two '69 Camaros -- a SS396 and a Z-28 and while I loved them both (and wish I still had both of them!), the Challenger has always been my first love!
Well here it is thirty-five years later and Dodge is bringing my dream car back out! And I'm no longer a 16 year-old kid with hardly a nickel for gas -- d@mn life is good!
BTW, I've been a Mopar convert for awhile and currently have an 04.5 Dodge RAM 3500 (diesel) and a '98 Jeep TJ.
So, nice to 'meet' ya and hope to see the Challenger on the road soon!
