Call me an optimist but I think oil will come down pretty soon. Many think that it's a commodity bubble about to burst and oil will be under US$100/barrel soon. Will gasoline come down with it? I dunno.

Let's hope the new "Cap and Trade" garbage that the Washingtonistas are pushing gets killed. They can turn coal to liquid you know - and as Larry Kudlow says the US is the Saudi Arabia of coal. ;-)

Anyway, good luck to us all. Good thing for me is that I have a 2000 Chevy Tracker with a 2.0L 4 banger as a daily beater, which on it's original sticker says it gets like 23/25 mpg. It's a rebranded Suzuki Vitara - Canadian built, with a Suzuki motor.
