You'll want to check with Bob but I'm guessing it's the same for you. Bob will be collecting Michigan Sales tax from me and then I assume I get some sort of "proof of payment" of sales tax to bring to the state to show I paid. I'm guessing Bob's dealership in some fashion passes that along to Michigan.
I've bought trucks and cars out of state several times in several states and I've had them add my home state sales tax into the financing and they gave me a check for the tax and tempory reg. to get home then I registered and paid sales tax in my home town with their check.
