Retro-style wheels on an RT?

I was thinking - I really don't like these big-assed wheels (like 20's) on the new Challenger and was doing a little research into what might work on them with a more -"retro" look. I really like steelie/smoothie wheels that are painted body colour with chrome caps and rings. Wheel Vintiques | Welcome makes a number of 17" wheels like that (from 7.5-9" in width) that come in a variety of bolt patterns. I also found out there are companies (like this one 5 X 115 to 5 X 4.75 Wheel Adapter - 51155475) that make an adapter that can convert the 5 x 115 Challenger bolt pattern to 4.5 or many other patterns. Then, if you find a 255/55/17 tire, (Classic White Wall Tires - Vintage Tires - Redline & Redline Radial Tires for Antique and Classic Cars makes a really cool W rated modern one with either redlines, goldlines, or whitewalls on it ) - the height of the tire is withine .5 inches of the stock 235/55/18's that come on the base RT. I think the wheels should fit over the 13.6" brake calipers on the RT and think they should also fit within the stock wheel wells - although I am not sure with that 1" that the bolt pattern adapter adds. Anyone have any thoughts? I just don't dig the huge DUB-style wheels on New Chargers and Challenger.
