I chose the auto for commuting as it will become my daily driver at some point.
But I do often choose to take it easy mostly on the commutes but there is usually sometime when you want to "awake the beast".

If it is not 100% ready (IE still groggy) I will be disappointed as well. Hell my 10+ year old Grand Prix has a transmission sport mode that I keep it in all the time. That is all I need. It would be nice for an option to program it to stay in sport mode.
