to each their own. I hate getting into these arguements. some people have the money to pay for what they want, some choose to spend it differently.
any item is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I don't shop at best buy, because i can get the same electronics cheaper elsewhere, but many many people still shop there.
i pay for overnight shipping sometimes because i want my product to my house and i don't want to wait. some might call it stupid or a waste, but i work to earn my money and i will spend it how i wish.
many would say the money i have spent on my SRT-4 Neon is silly. I enjoy the car and I spend my money on it. if someone thinks it is too much or careless spending then oh well.
i pay more for concert events because i enjoy the convenience of upfront seating, parking passes, and easy bar service. when i was a teenager, i would have thought that was crazy.
in the end there will be people who have the toys and those that say the toys cost too much.
i will say do whatever makes you happy.
