Some old news, but don't blame Nardelli. They're simply ahead of the curve. The rest of the big 3 will likely be following up very shortly. Heck, GM is already starting to fall into line as well with ending GMAC leases in Canada. I'm sure that GMAC will cut off leasing in the US soon as well.

It's not their fault, its basic economics. They can't sell the droves of SUV/Trucks they are getting back on their lots courtesy of leases. No one wants them. They have to stop the money sink somehow, and cutting off leases and making buying the vehicle more appealing is the way to do it. If you really want to lease, you'll still be able to lease courtesy of independent leasing companies.

Give it a few weeks and you'll have to copy/paste your post to GM and Ford related message boards.
