It's not Nardelli because all of the manufacturers are going to revise their leasing options.
On one hand it's a smart move because it takes away a huge risk that the vehicle will be worth less than predicted at the beginning of the lease.
On the other hand it's a bad move because most Americans rent everything in there life and like to talk money in terms of monthy budget with no reguards to total costs which plays directly into the dealers hands. This also forces the person into a new car much more often than a person buying one typcally does.
