As for other comments in this thread, yes the ads by these as_es are false, deceptive and misleading. They absolutely violate every State Statute relating to deceptive consumer practices that I'm aware of. However, the Attorney General's office in each of the States just doesn't make going after this conduct a priority. Dealers engage in this conduct with outright contempt for the law.
I hope Chrysler does take a hard look at these practices and takes that into consideration in relation to future allocations. I'm not so hopeful because I haven't found a specific number to call at Chrysler to report these incidents.

I bought my car at sticker and picked it up July 21st. My dealer told me that during that morning, he had 3 calls , all willing to pay WAY over sticker for the car. (Only one 08 at his dealership). He stayed good to our agreement, and sold me the car at sticker. He told me he would give me their names, and that I should flip it, and I could just about pay for a 09 with the extra money !! There's the GOOD dealer. (Halifax Chrysler Dodge Jeep).BTW, I'm keeping my car.

On the other hand: I live in a city that has 3 dealerships, each of which received 1 of the 08's. My son knows one guy who was getting one of the other 2 . He had made a written contract , complete with a down payment. When he went to pick up his car, he was told it had been sold !!! We know the status of this dealer . He's suing the dealer, and Dodge.
