I picked the 350 with a 6 speed auto since 1) I havent used a stick in years and I'm lazy! 2) I dont need all that power - 350 horses is plenty for cruising and sometimes stoplight racing. Its the same motor thats been in Ram trucks and the 300, and has proven itself to be tough, super-reliable and runs on regular unlead with no problems.

My local Ford dealer sells more V6's Mustangs to teenage and young adult females than anything else, the guys are the ones who buy the V8's. I think the new Challenger should be Mopar's direct mass production answer to the Mustang and not a specalty car.
