Talking Re: Challenger Powertrain Question - Part 2 - Transmission Selection

No. if the Challenger is not offered with a manual tranny I will purchase another car for my weekend driver (Corvette or BMW M5). I love my 300C SRT-8 and will continue to use it as my Daily Driver. I will purchase the Challenger for a weekend car with manual tranny only. If the biggest engine available is the 6.1 and the tranny a 5 speed autostick, then it would be pointless to buy one, as I already have that combo in my daily driver. Make the 6.4 an option (regardless of price) and offer it as a manual tranny (5 or 6 speed) and I will buy without a doubt. Offer a convertible with the 6.4 and a six speed manual and I'll write you a blank check now.
