All I can say is that building this 2 door is a lot more intensive than the 4 door and because of this you need to have a mix of 4 doors in with the 2 doors not because Chrysler wants dealers to sell 4 door cars. If we could just run all 2 doors we would .
I would never want you to jeopardize your job. God knows the economy is tough everywhere - asking anyone to join the ranks of the unemployed for the sake of a little inside information would be foolish.
We understand you have no control over what gets assembled. I'm just a "cog" in the gears of my employers machine too. What frustrates us is that it seems the "executives" at LLC - or Brampton - have put "Ebay fodder" ahead of firm order cars on the line ....... SE's being listed on auction (over MSRP) instead of our cars going to the front of the line.
If Dodge doesn't smarten up and add to their bottom line with order fulfillment for closed deals instead of shipping "Ebay rape bait" to the dealers, a lot of UAW and CAW workers could end up unemployed anyway because of fiscal mismanagement.

If I have a construction business (an industry that's currently struggling economically) and have a dozen "roofing jobs" lined up for customers who've given me deposits to deliver my services, why would I forego those "guaranteed jobs" that could immediately put cash in my pocket for building birdhouses that I HOPE I can sell? "A bird in the hand...... "

That's what we're complaining about, certainly NOT the car you guys are building. With VERY few exceptions, we've heard nothing but praise for the Challengers coming out of Canada. Makes us want ours even more - and as soon as possible!
