I don't know if this is outright fraud... maybe false advertising to get you into the dealer, make a phone call, etc.

Bottom line, you have the choice to accept to decline paying the mark-up. Now if they get you to pay the mark-up without your knowledge; for example, like burying the cost in the contract as a hidden cost -- then you probably have a case for fraud.

I don't care if the greedy dealers sit on these units until they croak... I'll say it again; in my opinion, the dealers appear to be the ones that are engaged in price fixing and should be held accountable to Chrysler and the state Attorney General.

The problem is this accepted practice has been going on for years and nothing has ever been done about it.
