Re: Challenger Powertrain Question - Part 1 - Choose your Powertrain

6.1L or preferably a 6.4L and certainly an Automatic. The 5sp AutoStick would be OK but I would be way more excited about a 6sp or 7sp (dreaming maybe). I am 150% buying a New Challenger if I can get any of the above.

The Modern Auto's that also let you shift yourself are actually better at doing what they do then we can ever be with an "old-school" manual.

Sorry but I don't need a clutch pedal to:
"Have More Control"
"Really Be Driving"
"Have Fun Driving"
"Shift When I Want"
Etc, etc, etc (other lame manual-only-excuses)

Sorry but a modern automatic is simply superior in so many ways plus offers the "convinience factor" that a manual just does not offer... ever

Don't take me wrong... I love manuals too but I have seen such advances in the last 4 years alone that I simply will not go back to "manual labor" -Pun Intended

Now on that note I do highly agree that they need... no... absolutely must offer a Manual on the Challenger or the loss of sales and general mocking will never end.

Give us both!!

But please offer a Nice Automatic on the SRT8 version as you do now!!

A future buyer (with the money)
