Re: After Market Steering Wheels?

If you are going to change the steering wheel, PLEASE!!! disconnect the battery for at least 10 minutes before disconnecting anything!!! All yellow wires are SRS [airbag] wiring. If it is a quality wheel the switch should be easy. Remember when you are done, connect the battery and turn the key with you outside of the vehicle remember there is a bag on the passenger side and one coming out of the roof next to the window. If you have a problem, this is when it will happen. BIG BANG! I have never seen this happen on a reconnect but they say it is possible. lol Garylee
