If they offered them staggered across a 6 year period they could easily make three (3) sales off the same person! They know the power mongers well, and their tactics are spot on. (I probably couldn't hold out long enough for a 426 though... dang ).
Car probably won't be around in 6 years,..demand and competition's hp is already up to snuff (peaking right now)....nows the time to offer several pkgs. from small to 6.4l,...if they want to release the 6.4l 6 months later,..that would be fine,...but you better leak info that its going to happen. ...Soon! Keeping it one engine choice,..you will lose lower, some mid...and some top hp sales(not good business). The more I think of it,..the more I do not believe allpar's source,...because its not only foolish,..its stupid with no business sense what so ever with one engine choice,...especially when they say they are competing in the mustang(pony car and hp wars)because of their sales and all. I know Ford and Mustang aren't worried,if this news is correct.
