My sis-in-law was a CIO for a lg bank at one time, then a top IT person for Pizza Hut (don't laugh, it's really working for Pepsi). She was layed off from both. She has every IT cert invented like Novel, MCSE,MCSD, you name it shes got, and hot looking as well.
When her comp pkg ran out and was hitting the street looking for work, she told me that on avg 350 applicants were going for each job  After a year she was thrilled to land a job w/the Palm Beach County School Board making $10.75 p/hr quite a change from the high $80's she was used to.
Theres a lot around here. Its funny out of everytime I say what field Im going into probaly 1 out of 10 say I wont find a job. Im not to worried about finding a job and if I cant Ill sell cars for a living or something like that. |
