Just happened upon one it one day after hurricane Ivan decided to rip some of our roof panels off and nicked our car, brand new 2004 monte ss, thought the car had to be repainted but alcohol took the scuffs right off and did not hurt the paint. So decided to try it on pine sap and worked like a charm. By the way we live in florida where pine sap is an everyday thing. It will also take it off your hands if you get some on them. Works for us anyway.

I agree. Plain old Rubbing/Isopropyl Alcohol works great for sap ...... and adhesive from tape - on just about any hard surface. The colder the alcohol the better.
