Re: SRT Engineers Chat Session - 10/15/08 6pm - 8pm EST

MY NEW 2008 DODGE CHALLENGER 6.1L HAS A PROBLEM WITH NOISE IN THE VALVE TRAIN IN THE MORNING AND AFTER THE CAR HAS BEEN SITTING FOR OVER AN HOUR.YOU START THE CAR UP AND THE VAVLE TRAIN MAKES NOISE LIKE IT NEEDES LIFTERS FOR ABOUT 1 1/2 MINUTES AND THEN THE OIL PRESSURE BUILDS UP AND IT GOES AWAY. BEEN TO DEALER TWICE AT 500 MILES THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY CALLED CHRYSLER AND THEY TOLD THEM THE MOTOR HAS TO BREAK IN.AT 1000 MILES THE NOISE IS GETTING WORST. THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT ITS NORMAL FOR NOW. NOW THE NOISE IS GETTING WORST. I'V BEEN A TECH FOR 30 YEARS AND I OWN MY OWN SHOP. I KNOW I'M GETTING THE ROUND ABOUT. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT HAS ANY INFO THAT CAN HELP ME ON THIS. THE DEALER OR CHYSLER WONT. MY #847 867 9124 OR gvshell@aol.com Is there a way of talking on the phone with a srt person I need help?
