I'm not surprised that the Chally may be a niche car, I suspected it would be so from the beginning. The company is making money selling what they have. The Chally appeals to a narrow market segment - the die hard Mopar faithful and those with bucks to blow for todays neat toy. Since this is business they have to maximize the profit margin to even keep it in production. Couple that with the upward spiral of fuel costs that will negatively impact sales. By the time this thing hits the street in 08 we may be paying 5 bucks or more for a gallon of gas. If it runs on premium it'll be even higher - if you can get it. I'm not interested in a $35K+ hanger queen. If built I'm buying the car to drive it, I already have one classic Mopar in the garage, don't need another.

my 2 cents

BTW: what grade fuel does the 5.7 Hemi run on?
If you pay over msrp for any of the SRTs then you just aren't doing your homework. Go search on EBay for them and you'll find plenty of them for msrp or most likely a few thousand under msrp. Also, just because the dealer is on EBay, it doesn't mean you have to buy it on EBay. I got my Ram from a dealer that was on EBay by going to the dealership and saying, I saw that one on ebay, and I want the same price.
