Installed the CAI 93 OCT tune and two strange things happened. For starters, after about a mile driven, the low tire pressure warning light illuminated. I drove the car back to the house and added air to 40 psi -- none of the tires was below 30 psi. Light still on. Turned the car off and then back on and the light turn on before I exited the driveway. I've never had this light come on before.

Second, the high speed fan were on the entire time I was driving -- it was 30 degrees outside and the temp gauge was slightly left of center at all times. I pulled into the driveway and let the car run on idle for 15 minutes and the fan never stopped. I have a stock thermostat.

This makes me nervous about this tune. I would be grateful for any advice you might have. The car did "feel" very different though. Much easier shifting and clearly more power. Thanks.

Do you have the current version loaded on your Predator? The current crom is u7135-9r16 (http://www.diablosport.com/downloads/predator/updates/u7135-9r16.crom).

Yes. I ordered from DCX and they loaded it for me.

I get spurious tire low indicator myself, and when it happens it is recurrent, even after confirming true pressure. Seems to go away after a few starts... has happened maybe three times in 4,000 miles. Not sure that helps you, but may be coincidence, not related to predator. I think others have had similar issue.

I to have had this issue and I don't have the predator and only 2500 miles. All tires always at 35 even when the light is on.

there is a recal on the tire monitor system. Mine has the same thing and will be goin in come spring. As for the fans you might just have to tweak the setting on the predator.

Thanks. I have not received anything from Chrysler on the recall. I'll call my dealer and see if I can get it in.

Is setting the fans relatively easy? I was told by Diablo just to install the canned tune and leave it at that. Seems the canned tune wants the engine to run a bit cooler than normal? I like that low rumble at idle but those fans crowd out that beautiful sound!

My tire pressure problem seems to have gone away but the fan is still going strong. Diablo told me to up the temps by 5-8 degrees across the board and reinstall the tune. I did that but the fan continues, even at idle. I have the stock thermostat and while driving, the temp gauge never crosses the center line. What is the actual temperature at the middle point of the temp gauge? Any thoughts on how to modify my fan settings would be greatly appreciated. The fan never came on before the tune... Thanks.

Pretty rad how the Predator reps are always around when people are curious about buying the units, but are strangely nowhere to be found when customers have actual questions about how this item affects their cars.

Maybe it's time to go back and edit a couple posts that might've made them a sale or two...
