It was a beautiful day today here in NY so I figured it was a good idea to install my 180 stat and Predator. I finished the thermostat and ran the car to make sure all was ok. Soon after, I parked in a sunny area for about an hour to grab a bite to eat. I come back to start on the Predator. It copies my stock tune with no problem. In the middle on loading the 91 canned tune I get KEY FOB NOT DETECTED!! I couldn't complete loading the tune. I figured I better put back the factory tune, if I could, and figure out what went wrong. After several attempts the car finally recognized the fob and I was able to bring it back to stock settings. Soooo I just learned a few moments ago the heat may have something to do with the whole fob issue.

I have three questions.

1st. Does anyone believe i'm gonna have an issue installing the tune since I had to abort the first attemp in the middle of the process??

2nd. I REALLY want to shut off the MDS. After installing the 91 CAI tune, is there an option anywhere to disable it??

3rd. Should I adjust the fan settings???

Thanks guys.. and gals :)

Try installing the code again. You shouldn't have any issues.

MDS shut off is done in Modify tune.
Performance Tunes > Diablo Tunes > (choose a tune) > Modify tune > Modify parameters > MDS > OFF
ESC (back up) and then install tune.
