i come from the land of corvettes and jeeps. both of which had waves.

new to the world of challengers. just got mine last week. don't see many around.
is there any sort of wave, or something similiar, used for acknowledging another challenger?

don't want to seem naive, but i haven't seen anything, and a forum search turned up nothing.

While driving your Challenger... a thumbs up usually works with the sh*t-eating grin or my favorite one is if side-by-side/driving past: Hey Good Looking!

simple hand wave in the air seems to work and is catching on here (south florida area)

usually go with a headlight flash.
but I hardly ever see other challengers.
This weekend was unusual though since I saw a few out and about.

I traded in my 2006 Jeep Commander for Delilah (that's her name). There isn't the 'wave' that I got from my Jeep, but I do give a cheesy head nod (and get them back) from the other challenger owners (which there aren't that many...but God am I tired of seeing the Camaros already).

I do the thumbs up.

i flash my highs but then i think they think theres a speed trap ahead cause they always brake after i do it

A wave or thumbs up works for other Challengers or LX's.

Make sure you growl at all of the Camaro's, it makes them think you are over the edge...

I rarely see other challengers, when i do its usually a brief wave of the hand, or a two fingered salute...kind of like cub scouts used to use in the 60s, (not sure if they use the same salute today) I also use the head nod, but that is hard to see from across three lanes of traffic.

I don't acknowledge camaros and only bob the head for Shelbys or Terminators who bother to look over. (used to own a term). Camaros are beneath my attention level.

Is there a wave specifically for the Corvette? how does that go? I have mentioned a few time that we need our own wave, like maybe waving in a C pattern. OK that seems kinda lame. Any Ideas?

Usually a brief horn honk or a wave.

yeah. its just a wave. like a hand up. same with the jeep.

i am surprised that there is nothing actually 'official'. a black 10 blew past me on the gsp southbound and didn't even look my way. passed another going to work, and he kinda waved after he saw me doing it.

i'm good at giving the 'jersey salute', but i save that for really 'special' people.

we should just wave. there are so many stangs and camaros out there. not many challengers. not many of us.

i'll wave at everyone i see. i'll get it goin' out here.
