I read an article that indicated that Chrysler's new marketing strategy is to hold on the new info on model changes and new models as long as they can. I get all the major car magazines and it was an brief article in one of them.

Just the rumored 6.4 l engine w/MDS. I'm hoping for 525 hp or better, and maybe some SSG (Snake Skin Green) paint, a la Viper. While I'm dreaming here, how about some simple and not-too-expensive adjustable suspension, like having a valve adjustor on the shocks for compression and rebound. And some blacked out wheels, with body color accent on the rim near the bead. That's all I want.

Oh, yeah, and a BB Gun. And a pony. But that's all.

Do any insiders know if the 2011 SE will come with dual exhaust from the factory??

I think we all know that the pentastar will be the new engine.

Also rumored:

New entry system (key fob)... the one we have is Mercedes Technology.
New dash coming to Charger... Charger and Challenger share interiors...????
New steering wheel... we have seen spy shots of the new Charger steering wheel....
New wheel options... easiest and quickest way for a new look...
Alter colors a tad....

Never thought about dual exhaust coming standard on the SE... interesting... would be neat...

both new Mustang and Camaro V6 come with dual exhaust. it would be nice if the Challenger was the same.

It blows my mind when I see these little four bangers out there with factory dual exhaust (dual tail pipes at least) and the Challenger SE has single exhaust. I think it is more about not mistaking the SE for a Hemi than anything else. After all, Chrysler charges an insane premium for a Challenger drive train upgrade (to a Hemi) that would cost about 75% less for other Chrysler models according to my dealer.

According to ResumeSpeed, the SE will indeed have duals. There's a sticky up top.....

Very true! The Hemi option in my Ram was only $1k. The loaded QC 4x4 Ram only cost me $25k new.

Dual exhaust should be std across the Challenger line up.

$2,310 for a 3.6Liter V6, + 40HP, + 20 ft-lbs and a better fuel-Economy... I Think that's fair! ... But I also hope, that the Body-Weight of the V6-Challenger goes down a little bit!

Ithink its a rip off. Its still less power and poorer fuel economy than the competition, and i think the 2011 SE will weigh about the same as the camaro. That should be the increase only if it comes with direct injection and includes the $995 6 speed manual with posi rear.

I don't think its a rip off but they sure don't seem interested in the making the huge splash Ford did with the 2011 Mustang by increasing HP, MPG and adding dual exhaust without raising price barely at all. Still I'm leaning toward a 2011 Challenger because its so much better looking than the Mustang and I think it'll be a much more comfortable ride. You guys here on the SE forum have made me see that there's a lot more to a car than just HP and a 0-60 time

I think that theyre getting close to pricing themselves out of the market especially on the SE.Also w/the SE its going to be harder to get the young ones out of those Honda Civic SIs,and theyre the future of all these type of cars, and the companies that build them, not someone 51 like me.

agree, for $2300 I want a handling pack T/A stripes and badges, and pink, yep I'd buy a second one.

My sons in their early 20s and their friends are almost sold on the idea of a bigger car,HP v6s w/good MPG and maybe $1k more (or something reasonable)than a new Civic Si.If prices go up its going to turn them off.
