To big for my challenger r/t? I just put some 22x9 wheels with 265/35/22 tires and it looks like the tires might rub. Should I go with a smaller tire or what?

Did you have the 235/55-18s or 245/45-20s originally?

If it's the 18s, you are about 1-1/8" wider in diameter. If it's the 20s, you are about 5/8" wider in diameter.

You're probably pretty close to rubbing on the upper ball joint bolt. I have about 5/8" between the tread and the bolt.

I have the factory 20s and I swear I hear the right front tire rubbing when I make left turns.

I had the 18 inch factory wheels, and yes the bolt is right on top of the tire. Not sure what to do.

Do you know the offset of the 22's your have? So your saying the bolt is resting on top of the tire when the car is on the ground?

The rims are 22x9 +20 offset. And there is a very small space between the bolt and the tire.

That bolt will not come into contact with the tire during suspension travel. so basically, when you go over a bump, the bolt will move relative to the tire.. So when the suspension moves up or down, the bolt will be at the same distance it is when its on level ground. If it worries you that much, you might want to look into going with 265/30/22 tires.

Like dodgeboy said the bolt moves with the car and will stay the same distance. Your good to go I have 22x9 on my chally an there's no rubbing.

I had 22 X 9.5 with a +13 offset on 265-35-22 lowered on Eibach suspension, no rubbing at all!

Nice! Lol yea there's plenty of room but at first it seems like there's no way there gonna fit.

Spaceship I see u have the front lip an sides painted to match the color of your car I want to do the same, how much did that cost you? Looks great
