Sorry if this has been covered already, but I checked the suspension forum for this and all I found was a lot of lowering and after-market stuff, so here goes...
Does anyone know for certain whether or not any of the factory suspension/steering upgrades on the '11-'12 SRT Challengers can be retro-fitted to an '09 or a '10? Are the actual pick up points on the newer chassis different than the older cars, or are the geometry improvements on the new cars all accomplished with different cradle, arms, spindles, etc.? Which components will need to be changed, etc.? And, what about any steering changes/improvements? Thanks in advance...

Me Too. A friend of mine has a bodyshop and I tried looking up parts to see if the part numbers were the same on suspension pieces, but his book doesn't cover 2011 or 2012. Anybody else have a source out there?

This is exactly what I was thinking! I'd give anything to have the two parts books in front of me so I could do a part-by-part comparison. I'm thinking of trading in my '09 R/T on an '09 or '10 SRT and swapping in a Mopar crate aluminum 426, but I want the finished car to handle as well as possible. That's why I'm asking about the possibility of swapping in the newer suspension geometry...

I'm really stunned that there aren't a lot more people interested in this...

I did do the 2011 SRT8 suspension upgrade to my 2011 R/T. It was a very good improvement in performance and looks. But that is not what your talking about. I can't tell you if you will run into any issues. I do have the stock RT shocks struts and springs from 2011? Only has 500 miles on them? I'm in the KC area if anyone wants to give it a shot? See if it fits....etc. If it does, then the SRT version should also.

Shoot Lisa and Mike at Speedlogix an email...they work on them...they could tell you if they are the same mounting points.

To make a long story short, 09-10 are DIFFERENT parts than 2011-2012 as far as front suspension pieces go! (yes, that includes the engine cradle also) I can post the part numbers if you really want them.:mecry:

If you're willing to go through all the trouble...I think there are probably several folks who would benefit from, and be grateful for, the information. I don't know if the '11+ R/T and SRT would have any different parts than each other, but I gotta think that anyone (myself) willing to buy new parts to upgrade their '08-'10 R/T would probably want to get the '11+ SRT parts to do it. Big thanks in advance, if you should choose to do this...

So, I take it that the upright/spindle/strut numbers did not change?
